รัฐและ กทม.มีการอุดหนุนค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการศึกษาให้กับโรงเรียนและนักเรียนในสังกัด กทม.อยู่บางส่วน เช่น ค่าเล่าเรียน ค่าชุดนักเรียน อุปกรณ์การเรียน ประกันอุบัติเหตุสำหรับนักเรียน 

สำหรับชุดนักเรียนระดับประถมรัฐอุดหนุนให้ 360 บาท/คน/ปี (เงินจำนวนนี้อาจไม่ครอบคลุมการซื้อชุดนักเรียนจำนวน 1 ชุด[1] [2]) และ กทม.จะจัดหาชุดพละหรือชุดลูกเสือให้อีก 1 ชุด [3]  

ดังนั้น กทม.จะเพิ่มเติมเงินสนับสนุนเพื่อให้ครอบคลุมค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งหมดที่เกี่ยวกับการเรียน ได้แก่ 
1. เพิ่มเงินอุดหนุนค่าชุดนักเรียนและอุปกรณ์การเรียนให้สอดคล้องกับราคาตลาด (ครอบคลุมราคา เสื้อ กางเกง ถุงเท้า รองเท้า กระเป๋า และอุปกรณ์การเรียนอื่น ๆ)

2. เพิ่มจำนวนการอุดหนุนให้สอดคล้องและครอบคลุมกับการใช้งานจริง

What will Bangkok residents get?

  - There will be no burden for educational cost, including tuition fees, cost of uniform, and educational supplies.

Details

The Government and the BMA provide partial educational supports for schools and students under BMA, such as tuition fees, cost of uniform, educational supplies, and accident insurance for students.

For elementary school uniforms, the state subsidizes 360 baht/person/year (this amount may not cover the purchase of 1 set of school uniforms [1] [2]) and BMA will provide one more set of gym clothes or boy- scout uniforms.[3]

Therefore, BMA will provide additional support to cover all the education expenses, including

1. the cost of student uniforms and educational supplies that is consistent with the market value (the price of shirts, shorts, socks, shoes, bags, and other educational supplies)

2. additional financial support that is consistent with and covers the actual use
