อินเทอร์เน็ตเป็นหนึ่งในปัจจัยสำคัญสำหรับการเรียนรู้ เช่น การเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ (การช่วยสอนจากส่วนกลาง) การสืบค้นข้อมูล ดังนั้น กทม.จะผลักดันให้มีการติดตั้ง Wi-Fi ฟรีสำหรับทุกโรงเรียนในกรุงเทพฯ โดยนอกจากจะให้นักเรียนใช้สำหรับการเรียนและการสืบค้นแล้วยังจะเปิดให้ประชาชนในพื้นที่เข้ามาใช้งานได้ในวันหยุด เพื่อช่วยผลักดันให้โรงเรียนเป็นแหล่งการเรียนรู้ของชุมชน

The Internet is one of the key factors for learning such as online education (teaching assistance of central agencies) and information retrieval. BMA plans to install free Wi-Fi in all Bangkok schools, not only for the students’ learning and information searching on school days, but also for neighborhood residents on weekends and holidays in order to develop schools into community learning resource centers.
