นอกจากการช่วยเหลือด้านสวัสดิการและปัจจัยพื้นฐาน ทั้งในด้านการพักอาศัย อาหาร ตลอดจนการรักษาพยาบาลหรือตรวจสุขภาพ อีกหนึ่งปัจจัยในการช่วยส่งคนไร้บ้านกลับสู่การดำเนินชีวิตตามปกติสุขได้อย่างยั่งยืนคือ รายได้ที่มั่นคงและเพียงพอสำหรับการจับจ่ายใช้สอยในชีวิตประจำวัน ตลอดจนเช่าที่พักอาศัยราคาถูกได้

กทม.จะดำเนินการร่วมกับภาคีเครือข่ายภาคประชาสังคม มูลนิธิฯ ต่างๆ ตลอดจนภาคเอกชนผู้ประกอบการในการจัดทำฐานข้อมูลและดูแลเรื่องสวัสดิการ ส่งต่อสู่โครงการฝึกอาชีพ การอบรมระยะสั้น และช่วยหางานให้เหมาะกับช่วงอายุและพื้นฐานรายบุคคล เช่น พนักงานดูแลสวนและตัดต้นไม้ พนักงานคัดแยกขยะ พนักงานทำความสะอาด หรือแรงงานก่อสร้างและช่างทั่วไป

Apart from welfare and fundamentals support, namely housing, meals, medical care and health check-ups, another factor in helping homeless people return to their normal and sustainable living is stable income, sufficient for daily expenses and low-priced housing.

BMA plans to cooperate with civil society network partners, foundations and private entrepreneurs in creating a database of homeless people, taking care of their welfare matters. Later, they can join vocational trainings and short trainings and BMA plans to help them find jobs in accordance with their age and background, such as gardeners, tree cutters, waste sorting staff, cleaners, construction workers and miscellaneous workers.
