เริ่มดำเนินการคัดแยกประเภทขยะอย่างจริงจังในหน่วยงานองค์กร โดยเฉพาะขยะอินทรีย์ ขยะเศษอาหาร หรือขยะรีไซเคิล ริเริ่มจากหน่วยงานสังกัด กทม.เอง และสถานที่หรือองค์กรที่มีกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจและผู้ใช้งานจำนวนมาก ประกอบด้วย

 1. หน่วยงานภายใต้ กทม. สำนักงานเขต ศูนย์บริการสาธารณสุข และโรงเรียน

 2. พื้นที่ตลาดภายใต้สำนักงานตลาด และร่วมมือกับพื้นที่เอกชน

 3. ห้างสรรพสินค้า คอมมิวนิตี้มอลล์ ศูนย์อาหาร (food court)

ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการแยกขยะด้วยการพิจารณา ‘ลดค่าเก็บขยะหรือยกเลิกการเก็บค่าขยะ’ พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมและทำงานร่วมกับภาคประชาสังคม และเครือข่ายที่ขับเคลื่อนด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เช่น การแปรรูปขยะตามหลัก circular economy และการนำขยะกำพร้าแปลงเป็น ‘เชื้อเพลิงขยะ’ (refuse-derived fuel: RDF)

  - Cultivate systematic waste sorting values in youth and the general public.  Start changing behaviors for a better city.

Start serious waste sorting at corporate agencies, especially organic waste, food waste, and recyclable waste by initiating the effort at BMA-affiliated agencies, and places or organizations with a large number of economic and users activities, including:

  1. BMA-affiliated agencies District Offices, schools under BMA's supervision, public health centers  

  2. Market areas under the Market Office, and cooperate with private areas

  3. Department Stores, Community Malls, Food Courts

Also, promote and work with the civil society sector and environmentally driven networks such as in circular economy waste processing and the conversion of orphan waste into 'refuse-derived fuels' (RDF).
